Texas Red Stag Hunts

Texas Thermal Outfitters offers high fence Texas red stag hunts, providing a unique experience for hunters. Employing a mix of blind hunting and spot-and-stalk techniques, their experienced guides are dedicated to getting you on a stag. The prime hunting season aligns with the rut, occurring from September through October, when stags are most active.

• Daily Hunt Rate: $295 Per Person
• Kill Fee Hind (Female): $1,250
• Cull Fee: $425/Per Point
• Trophy Bull Stag Fee: $9,500

*Note: A 25% refundable deposit of the day fee is required to secure your booking. Guides can provide skinning and quartering services for $100, or recommend a local processor for meat processing and shipping. Rifle hunting only; no bow hunting permitted. Lodging and meals are not included, but discounted rates are available at our local hunting lodge or hotel.*

* All deposits are refundable with a 30 day notice. After this 30 day period they are NOT refundable.

Guide gratitude: Tipping your guide is not a requirement at TTO but it is much appreciated! While we may make it look easy, your guide works his butt off before and during your hunt for your success! Please show your gratitude. While anything is appreciated, average tips are 10-20%.”
